Fair point. I could just claim spellcheck, but actually recovering from rather nasty detached retina surgery.

Re: Battery Issues
First thing I'd be doing is looking at the voltage when the car is being charged by the engine running and then after a few hours of resting. I'd be looking for 14v+ when charging and 12.6v when rested. From there it is straightforward to decide if you need a new battery or have charging side issues...

Re: Car thefts - securing your F-Type
Why not just fit a Ghost II or Ghost Pro? Won’t be going anywhere unless on the back of a tow-truck. I think this has been well covered in previous threads and I for one am a strong supporter of them having had several fitted on my current and former cars. Fully agree that with one installed the ca...

Re: Mercedes A45 AMG
Why not just sell privately or trade it in?
Seems to me with 2 rather specialist cars the chances of a px are very slim
I’d also mot it as it expires in 6 days

Re: Service Intervals
What’s meant by an Arduous Interim Service”? (Completed by Beadles in March 2019) I've seen this mentioned a few times and believe it to be when a vehicle is operated in harsh environments (e g. Very dusty or lots of short journeys) causing oil to degrade quicker and filters to become blocked soone...

Re: Service Intervals
It's like any element of a cars history. You have to decide if it bothers you or not and if the overall deal and condition of the car, (which is the most important on older cars) is right for you Personally I don't like the idea of the car being left with the deteriorating oil in it and potentially ...

Re: Jaguar windscreens
Strange that nobody notices these logo designs in the frits, although to be fair you have to look carefully to actually see them, even if you are told they are there. Certainly been on E Pace for years. One in our family was new to us in 2018 Here's a thread on Reddit from 5 years ago with a photo w...

Re: Owners Handbook
Yes, I find it frustrating that the online version seems to be inadequate. And ridiculous that I have to buy the books and waste paper instead of offering the full PDF like other brands. Certainly doesn't make the beginning of the ownership easier. I agree that JLR don't seem to be a the forefront ...

Re: Part Worn Tyre
Hello all, Hit a very nasty pot hole on my way to Gatwick this morning and put a huge bulge in my front near side tyre, so changing both fronts. I’ll keep hold of the other ‘good’ front tyre, so if anyone has a need for a front tyre (255/35Y20) Pirelli pzero with about 5mm of tread on it, I have on...
