Re: Recommended Tracker

I agree with Cluck.
A good Thatcham approved tracker in the new categories (S5+ImoB ) is going to cost around £500 for install and around £300 for 2 years subscription.
You already have a tracker fitted OEM in the car which is Thatcham approved.
Just renew your existing subscription.

Re: Touch screen crashed

Mine is a MY19.5 so not too old so is the change only in 20, 21? I don't think there was a change as regards model year - more likely the version of software installed on the pro. It's quite a rare thing but people shouldn't worry as leaving the car for 10 minutes or so to allow it to shut down pro...

Re: Touch screen crashed

Not uncommon with the incontrol software. It was known as the "Petrol station black screen". People found that after filling with petrol the infotainment was still shutting down when they went to restart the car after paying. It appears the time taken is just right to confuse the crap out ...

Re: Service intervals?

Around 2019 the service schedules for the 4 pot petrols changed to every 2 years or mileage whichever comes first. In most cases they will be done on date and the car will begin a countdown in miles but it's extrapolating your usage to coincide when your due date is. You can also pop your vin in the...

Wow!! My car did the exact same thing on my way to the shop. Drove back home parked it. Started the next day, but did not want to drive it until my mate came to have a look. Re: V6 or V8 - what’s the best experience?

Great list.... although easy to say the most expensive is the Best, but it's horse for courses, if you want to use them on the circuit, or boast numbers at people, annoy your neighbours with the noise, or use it everyday, people have different needs Exactly. I would also add that not everybody can ...

Re: An American in the UK

Hope you’ve got some extra security on your car which is highly visible e.g. a good steering wheel lock etc. I recently installed CCTV overlooking where my car is parked on the driveway which is also off-putting to a potential thief. Enjoy the beast! :) It's garaged overnight with a disklok. Then i...
