Re: 10% off tyre fitting with Kwik Fit this bank holiday weekend

JLR probably have a contract with Pirelli to supply the production line with tyres. Mine was delivered with AMS (Aston Martin) rear tyres as OEM. A number of us have moved to Michelin, which are better than the original Pirelli's, grippier and quieter from what I remember. I ran the rear Pirelli's ...

Does it make any difference that those tyres haven't been homologated for the F-Type, unlike the P-Zero tyres?

Cheers badger - think I'll just replace the rears as they're near the 3mm mark.

Re: Low battery issue after first MOT and health check.

Weird how it happens at MOT with them but not at either of the two services.

I think when it comes to MOT next year, I'll find somewhere else.

I'm in two minds whether I should replace the front tyres measuring around 4.5mm tread. Hmm

Re: Low battery issue after first MOT and health check.

A lot of MOT centres are too lazy to read the VIN number and establish the car details, so they access the OBD port and extract the data that way. As we are all well aware, this is fine with very few OBD tools, but the majority will leave the car in a state of Limbo. I didn't want people connecting...

Roughly £650 for 4 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S’s (20” with 295 rears)
That's a good offer. Unfortunately, nearest Costco is about 60 miles away.

Re: Low battery issue after first MOT and health check.

Fast forward 1 year - car went in for its MOT with Pentland JLR Dundee again and the same thing has happened. Car flew through the MOT (less than 10,000 miles on clock) and when I got home and shut it down, I noticed the hazard and door lock lights would not go out. This is 2 years in a row that the...
