Re: Delivered today but there are issues - advice appreciated
If the paint is chipped behind the door, it's likely door alignment too as if the body sticks out slightly more than the door, the stones are not deflected by the door and hit the bodywork in the airflow. I would look to reject the car, with a view that if they can agree in writing to sort out the i...

Re: Software Update Available V20C
I'm glad i have an original one which has no software updates and no problems from what i've seen. It just works. If i need Android Auto - i just use the phone on a magnetic holder stuck to the dash and bluetooth audio. I do feel it's wrong to roll out software without proper testing, which is what ...

Re: Front Brake Pad Replacement
I found the clips on the back of the pads went back in more easily if you used your hands to move them in place, then use the handle of a hammer (or any small wooden bar to lever the pads so the clips push into the spaces for the clips. I did the inside first, then the outside. This was about 3month...

Re: Low level scrapeing
Sand it. A bit of coarse sand paper to take the burrs off and it doesn't look too bad. I've made mine last 7 years doing that at the end of every year so far.
I do need a new one now, but it doesn't look too bad at all tbh.

Re: Headlight use in LHD Countries
As long as it conforms to all the homologation rules, yes you can still ITV right hand drive cars here. We have several in our Classic Car Club that are on Spanish plates, both historic and standard plates. Same in France. The important document is the full European certificate of conformity, which...

Re: Headlight use in LHD Countries
I imported my F-Type to France a number of years ago and no - it will not pass a European MOT equivalent. Its fine for touring but they do have a subtle flick up. I bought two LHD headlights 2nd hand and fitted them myself - they are very easy to change. I ended up spending about £800 which was chea...
