Mine was just replaced under warranty

Had my 2015 F type serviced yesterday and mentioned the rusty cross brace. Apparently there is a Jaguar tech bulletin on it and they need to order some gunk in to deal with it so rebooked for a months time... in time for winter. Was given an XF courtesy car for the service. Just couldn’t warm to it...

Does anyone have a link to, or the actual service bulletin for this issue, by chance?

Unfortunately, jaguar aren't very helpful on this matter either

Mine is going in this weekend for the Diff seal to get replaced.

I've used that one, its okay. Cool features but not as intuitive as Jag's system and I hate the American voice!

@Captainham yup just the valve controlled exhaust, no sports cats. Its Race+Touring sound level. With the valves closed, it sounds just like stock. Unless of course, you're up above 4000rm. It's around the £2500-3000 approx. depending on your options. I had ceramic black tips as extra. LOTS more pop...

I can't help but think the next F Ttype will have something like a 1.6 V4 with electric power also, similar to the new Merc or an F1 car etc
Not as much power obviously, but similar setup.

So the 4cyl downsize is probably to get us all used to the idea
