Re: Vehicle tax reduction
I've just looked at my V5. Car registered in September 2019 and the higher VED is payable until 28/02/2025. Which is four months shorter than I was expecting, if this is correct. The only thing I'm aware of, is that it was a showroom car and dealer demo for six months after registration. The first n...

Re: sad days are coming
Problem is manufacturers are having to sell an increasing percentage of EVs or get fined, as well as prepare for ICE demise in 10 years time. We can all now see that that China has grabbed the volume 'green industry' and will be increasingly flooding the market with cheap cars, solar panels, wind tu...

Re: sad days are coming
Isn't there rumoured to be an SUV, a large saloon and a four door GT launching sometime 2025 onwards.
Doesn't necessarily mean there's no sports car ever again. Who knows.

According to the advert, it also has a month's worth of Jaguar extended warranty still running, so this would be able to be renewed (circa £900 p.a.). Expensive but close to manufacturers cover on new cars.

Re: JayEmm testing the P300
I really love the car and this forum is great, I do hope there won't be cylinder snobbery on here 😂 Damn, and I was thinking of adopting an aloof V8 aura for 2024! We have to fight our corner too, you know. Those 400 Sport owners with their limited edition, have been known to say our SVRs are as co...

Re: JayEmm testing the P300
I'd quite like to try a P300 out of curiosity, just to see what it's like, as I've owned the V6 and V8. Might see if I can blag one when mine goes in for service to complete the picture. His observations on running costs are what I would have expected. Whilst our 2 litre XE is cheaper to run/tax/ins...
