Can't see anything in the manual about the removal, but looking at parts list I don't see many fixings. Looking at my one it looks to be bonded or glued.

Got the 6th service done today. Also had the gearbox updated to stop the harsh engagements when cold. Will report back on that tomorrow when it’s cooled down! Mot passed. I would say anything greater than a 1:6 you would hit the deflector on the underside that's about 10 degrees.
