Re: V8R Possible Purchase

The second one (SVR) is car 49344. GJ67YVH Some of the extra £20k will be because it's newer, higher spec, less miles and it's an SVR. It only covered 208 miles in first year, may have been the showroom car. Looks like 2+ owners (Maidstone, Bristol/Bath) and does have a full Jaguar Service History f...

Re: V8R Possible Purchase

Unfortunately I am on a thing called a bus. Strange place but for a good reason. Off to London to see Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Wheezer. The first one is car 24617. YE15HTG Looks like 3+ owners (Leeds, Stockport, Yorkshire areas). The advert says full jaguar service history, but online it hasn't b...

Re: Higher mileage cars, what to look for (and does anyone recognise this car?)

It is car 28448. Registered 14th July 2015 on a 15 plate ending XWZ. Last sold 24th Feb, clear on Police National Computer, clear MOT other than tyres. Did 16,908 miles in first 3 years, and then 26,304 miles by 4 years. It was then off the road and appears to be SORN, unused and missing 2020 MOT re...

Re: Front wheel tracking.

330 miles in 2 years? I've done that this week so far already! When I take mine to the Pirelli Performance Centre they check it on their hunter system automatically as it drives into the garage and then it is aligned after new tyres. But I see no reason why you can't just have an alignment without n...

Re: Difficult Choice of V8's

Good to hear from somebody who has tried both. Im tending more towards an older 550 at the moment partly because when I look for a P450 with all the options I want its about £5K over my budget. Was interested in a blue 550 AWD, 2018 only 7500 miles - when I asked main dealer how many owners it has ...

Oh, the OP has deleted their account.
Hope they get it sorted and presume we will never get an update then. Shame.

Re: Single tick on turning

Thanks both - I might have to crawl underneath and have a look then. According to the Jag service history the rear diff oil was done in October 2019, I'd hope it doesn't need doing again that soon?! Rear diff oil is every 4yrs however mine was black and filthy after 4yrs and 29k miles so will be ge...

Re: Engine Wear - Water Ingress [Engine Replacement required]

Sorry to hear of bad news.

If you give me your reg I'll look up the history to see if anything comes up. Where did you buy it from? jaguar dealer or not?
