JLR did dispatch a limited number of 400 Sport hardback release/presentation packs.

This was a beautifully bound book with metal rivets binding the pages and every little detail about the car drawn up with clear tracing paper overlay pages if memory serves me right.
You might find one on eBay...

That's the killer right there.
The pulley must be glowing cherry red to fit the cooled shaft; put it on a few mm out of alignment and it'll chew belts forever!

Try with the roof up and shift through N, D and R a few times.

Yes, and had all mine replaced with the new double zinc plated versions without any problem at all...and mine weren't showing any sign of corrosion. IMO Key is to work with the Service manager.
