Re: Third party warranties?

Hi all, Car is coming up to a year in my ownership (time flies!) and I've got a month or so left of my year's warranty the garage (a main Toyota dealer - not Jaguar) sold it with. Re: Noob - looking for some quick advice on 400 Sport please

Re: Union Jack

Being a Seafarer and not a landlubber, I would like to put my pedantic head on, and state that it's: Union Flag! ...not Union Jack! (Unless your car is a grey Frigate!). That's not quite the story behind the term, you can have your own opinions, but not your own facts  https://www.flaginstitut...

Re: Air noise when coasting/slowing without braking

OK. You can shift from D to N and back whilst on the move, but as you say if it's not that area, and judging form the age of the car you don;t have the air pump and accumulator that was on very early cars for activating the exhaust flaps, it can't be that. Re: Air noise when coasting/slowing without braking

Do you find the noise in the area of the shifter?
Try with the roof up and shift through N, D and R a few times.

I should have added "with the top down" 😁

"The noise itself is not a problem at all - can't hear it with music on, in sports gear selection, or with the top down - but I'm concerned that it indicates something that needs addressing"

Re: Campaign SSM74031 X152 Under body brace corrosion

Yes, and had all mine replaced with the new double zinc plated versions without any problem at all...and mine weren't showing any sign of corrosion. IMO Key is to work with the Service manager. We built up an excellent rapport with the dealer principal and SM over the years and they were first class...
