Re: Jaguar Breakfast Club - Date for Diary

Travelling from Herts but aiming to arrive by 09.30 as need to leave by 10.30 for another gathering (people not cars). Hoping for some good photos of my R in a sea of F Types and a breakfast roll. Shame it's a fleeting visit but sort of on the way to the other event and an hour is probably all my wi...

To avoid annoying the InControl guys, put it in Service mode first! ;)
Yep, you're right, lesson learned.

Re: Stolen ftypes

In defense of trackers, it does give peace of mind. I recently disconnected the battery to do some work, phone call with 3 minutes. Had the car put on trailor for a repair, phone call within 3 minutes. Also keeps an eye on what happens to your car during servicing and knowledge that the police can c...

Re: Oh dear - misfire

Update; I changed the coil pack with no improvement. It was fairly straight forward but showed me that I did not want to tackle the injector on my drive. After a bit of phoning around and strange advice about changing all 4 injectors if 1 has failed (either the 1 faulty one or all 8 surely), I decid...

Re: PPI on a 2018 F-Type P340 cabrio

I've got a 2014 car and can say they are very reliable, should be no issues and the 2yr warranty will protect you.

Make sure you get 2 keys, see if the diff oil has been changed, have a good look round it on collection.

Good luck and enjoy.

Re: Low profile trolley jack

I too have the Halfords low profile jack and it fits easily.

However, I would put some blocks under the car once jacked as having left the car on the jack while I went for lunch, it had dropped on my return. I guess never really trust any jack, always support once jacked.

Re: workshop manual

There’s another thread in the last 2 weeks where I posted this manual link and also where to buy a 100% personalised version Hi, Sorry to reply to an old post but I'm about to try and change an injector on a V8R, did you mean I could get a .pdf workshop manual for that actual vehicle? If so, could ...

Thank you so much, massive help.

Re: Oh dear - misfire

Jaguandy,
Thanks, yes I've seen that, hoping it's not stuck and willing to spend many hours with the special slide hammer tool to loosen it rather than more serious intervention.
