Re: Fun on ice with JLR
Hi Arne, Looks great fun, I bet with an R RWD you are used to going sideways. Almost all the cars we drove on the ice were awd, and I really did miss the rwd. The "problem" with most of the JLR cars on the ice, is that even with esc off, the nannys still interfere when really sideways. Th...

Fun on ice with JLR
This was an event hosted by the Norwegian JLR dealer that I use (last weekend). We got to drive most of the models in various trim levels, including some SVRs. It was great fun, and very interesting

You can also try with a plastic bag full of warm water. Just hold the bag gently over the doorhandle area for a few minutes.

Re: V8 or SVR
I am a lucky owner of a MY15 rwd R (since 2015), so I am probabely not unbiased either 😉 But I have driven the awd R (both on track and road), and I am very happy that I have a rwd R. As Tel says, the rwd R is lighter than an SVR (it is even lighter than an awd V6), and the esp system has a way less...

Re: Are newer F-Types quieter than their older brothers?
The inside of the exaust tips on the newer V8's are narrower as well. Don't know why?
This is how my MY15 looks. If you have one of the newer models, have a look and see the difference.
