Re: V6 or V6S

I was open to either when I bought mine, but the car that came up was a cancelled order 340 with a good spec. I had been advised by a motoring journalist friend, who has an "S", that the power was only better at the very top end, so I went for the 340. I have not been disappointed and now ...

Re: Essential journeys !

Yes, I would carry a copy of the insurance that states the requirement just in case plod needs to see it. There is a lot of misunderstanding about driving to work. It's not just essential workers but anybody who can't work from home. Obviously businesses have to obey the new rules of social distanci...

Re: New Ftype 21MY, real photos

I suppose Jaguar is only following the same route as the car that inspired it, the E Type. The original was best by a country mile, but slowly got worse with "updates". Although Jaguar did have the excuse of trying to meet US regulations back in the 60s and 70s, today the updates are purel...

Hope this helps. Set fairly high for barking at people, not quite as secure as around the headrest of the F Pace rear seat, but seams OK. We've now had it for three years and it's been great.

Re: F-Type Dog Seat?!

It's a fairly universal fitting so should be OK. I can't try the seat in the F Type until next weekend as the wife away with it. Also, I suppose it will depend a bit on the style of seat, mine are the original standard style with full leather upgrade. The only problem I can see is that integrated he...

Re: F-Type Dog Seat?!

Ours is similar to this:

with a strap that goes over the headrest and one round the seat back.

Re: F-Type Dog Seat?!

We've got a small Jack Russell/Chihuahua cross and we got a dog seat that straps to the car seat and has a built in safety strap. I've not used it in the F Type but my wife uses it in her F Pace a lot. One of these will save your seats and contain the hair (a bit!). Also it can be fitted a bit highe...

No, It was an AC Cobra.
