Even the dealer told me it was a bad idea when I asked.
Virtually all your boot space is taken up. The front wheel only will fit in the boot and, the rear would have to go on the passenger seat (as already mentioned) or drive home with the boot open and risk putting the glass out!

Which diagnostic system?
Does anyone know what diagnostic system is used by the main dealers on our F-types?
(I like to keep an eye on things!)
Thanks

Re: Radar/Speed Camera detectors...any good?
Used to have a couple of them 20 years ago. The problem was that other things used to set them off (burglar alarms, traffic light sensors, etc) that you end up ignoring the signals after a while (including the genuine ones). They may be more selective these days. I found using the Mk1 eyeball kept m...

The new 4 cylinder F-type...
I had the XE 240hp (2 litre turbo) for a short loan and found the turbo lag absolutely horrendous. (Along with the unattractive interior and letter box boot, it ensure I'll never have one of those.)

Bugger, I've only averaged 22mpg in 6000 miles.

It'll probably get better once she's loosened up.

Creaking Parcel Shelf ?
I'm afraid so.
In my first F-type the rear parcel shelf kept dropping down on one side.
The loan F-type I'm currently driving has the parcel shelf at a 'jaunty angle' when viewed in the rear view mirror.
Piss poor build quality.

Engine oil for an F Type R
The 0W-20 refers to just the viscosity. There are several other factors to the oil in addition to just viscosity. When I emailed Jaguar asking which oils were approved by them to their STJLR.51.5122 specification, their reply only listed the 'Castrol EDGE Professional E 0W-20' oil as meeting their sp...

I'm glad the storage pocket is still there, there isn't a huge amount of storage space for the loose stuff in the cabin.

Service Interval Indicator
I dont like the oil level check system, give me an old fashion dip stick any day.
Couldn't agree more.
(Had enough bad experiences of sensor malfunction on my Mercedes)
Completely unnecessary and an addition failure point.
