Re: Opinions on wind deflector

Thanks for the info Bob. I like the look and may explore the option.

And Gus, I've never felt that the wind deflector caused visibility issues, I just dont think it works that well. I was driving an mx5 before my f type and it was less breezy 🤙

Re: Opinions on wind deflector

Photos of my new glass wind deflector I’m very pleased with the result, the glass is 4mm and toughened. I was worried about reflections, but all OK, and rear vision excellent. Do you think it functions better than the standard mesh one Bob ? As I said, I'm disappointed how poorly my standard one wo...

Re: Opinions on wind deflector

I've always been a bit disappointed with the amount of turbulence in the f type cabin. Have those of you who have switch to a solid deflector noticed less turbulence ? I was under the impression that the perforations made the deflector more effective based on the advice that it should be cleaned on ...

Re: winter tires style 5039 wheels

If you want to drive in snow at all I would definitely get a set of winter tyres. My experience is that you can manage low temperature on summer tyres by driving cautiously and with an awareness of the limitations of summer tyres in low temperatures but there is no way I would take my car out in eve...

Absolutely but I have more fun making slow progress !

Re: New F-Type Reveal on Monday

I appreciate manufacturer’s need to evolve to stay ahead of the game but I think Jag have made a big mistake with going too corporate continuity on image by trying to align the front end across their range. From the front the new F looks like a squashed XE, shouldn’t the flagship performance model ...

Re: Twitchy Back End

I like having a twitchy back end. I test drove both AWD and RWD and chose RWD for exactly that moment of excitement as the rear end loses grip for a split second before regaining traction as soon as I lift off a touch 😬
