Re: That earth connector block thingy under the wheel arch
Hi Lunar, Not all F types have the box in question. Nick had a similar problem finding a junction on his car. Found it on the engine bay side front wheel area. See posthttps://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4283 From my limited knowledge it seems to be a design change for MY16 looked...

Hi Nick Think Tel is referring to this item https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=3310&p=30617&hilit=Another+area+of+corrosion#p30616 Link to a post a while ago see the pictures, black box is obvious fixed to chassis behind drivers side strut. If it's as bad as mine you'll s...

Re: Big hello from Hampshire (plus sat nav issue)
Hi Max
Philskill beat me to the default to Belgium reply as I too had this with a previous Jaguar.
However a quick look at the handbook gives an alternative.
You can input GEO Coordinates which are just numbers as a destination.
A quick check in where to menu to check it's not stuck on that function.

Re: Petrol Filler Cap Holder
MMM embarrassed too... I’ve been cursing the filler cap support on the F Type since the first time at the petrol station. The BMW and Mini have a nice spike to secure the cap when filling and the Transit has capless filling. But I’m always knocking the cap off of the support on the one car I don’t w...

Re: Quite understandable...
His desire for a Jaguar not great enough. So I'm afraid not worthy. Not utilising every opportunity to obtain the dream is the story. Now the world knows he pushed it, no insurance money and even if he was desperate he could of got a million Rupees trade in at his JLR Dealership surely. Then go and ...

Re: What does your forum name mean?
Basher, Was good to meet the two of you today. Likewise mines definitely not rock and roll, rearrange the letters of a name relative to how I came to justify the impractical purchase of an F Type. Our off spring are nearly self sufficient in the travel department. Now this Man’s Tot free, the F Type...

Re: Blenheim Palace - Jaguar event - Whose going?
I’m at this event on Sunday also, looks like the weather will be reasonable! Think they have the GT4 F type SVR race team with a display as well as quite a few F-Types in the carpark fir sure. In line with my resolution to go to some events this season, thought I’d chance my luck and put my F Type f...

Re: Is it worth gettng paint and leather protection from dealer
Yes, Jaguar leather seats are leather, but the colour process is applied just like bodywork. It’s sprayed on. Same as modern furniture. I went to a leather seat seminar once, organised by the JEC and demonstration by the Furniture Clinic. They used a beat up, dried up mark 2 seat cushion for the dem...

Re: Driving up your back end
I've had some strange goings on, at a safe distance from my back end. People trying to stear and take a photo with a phone at the same time, Very naughty! I've had the lads who want to hear the exhaust sound and the boy racers who want to push you just a bit more... Having just been on a speed aware...
