Re: Do you find the F-Type generally noisy?
I forgot and used that stretch last week Darren to go to West Bridgeford, it was awful. I came home via the A60 and that's almost as bad. Drop the e Steve. The bourgeois residents of WB will be spitting in their Chai Latte 😂 Should be nice when completed though. The Nottingham to Newark stretch is ...

Re: Do you find the F-Type generally noisy?
Don’t find my car particularly road noisy, even with very narrow section tyres. I do avoid certain roads including a concrete section of A46 between Nottingham & Leicester, which is brutal. Even tractors avoid the potholes here. Currently undergoing full surface upgrade. Have never considered ro...

Re: Bought a car I thought I would never own.
Hello Andrew, Congratulations & welcome to the forum! Ours cars are very similar, although mine came as base model. You have great taste & imho have hit the sweet spot in colour, shape & model 😀 I owned quite a few Escorts in my late teens including this one… IMG_0112.jpeg IMG_0111.jpeg ...

Re: Calipers: before & after
tomosap - could you ask a local garage to remove/replace, as mono-uk did but send to BCS to refurb? These were my old calipers. I used the BCS same day service. The quality of finish was better than factory. Baring in mind these were the base grey calipers. BCS even sanded the casting marks away… IM...

Re: Wheel spacers
If they do need trimming. I think it’s approx 3 or 4mm & this comes off the blank stub end, not the actual thread.
Some wheel patterns won’t require trimming at all.

Used to watch Petrol Ped, not so more now. There are only a few car channels I will watch on YT. Jayemm is one of them. A complete car nutcase, good content and I think he is respected too. Some of his content and how he describes cars is top notch. Some YT'ers you can just tell they want subs &...
