Re: Coupe Dimension - rear wheel centre line to rear ?

I still use string dangling from the garage ceiling as a stop guide. The lasers look like a good tidy method. :D It’s a neat and cheap solution. Years of walking into the tennis ball on a string or tripping on stop blocks is now long gone :D Actually it can guide 2 cars into the garage, if you use ...

Re: Coupe Dimension - rear wheel centre line to rear ?

That's great news gf15, and thanks for taking the trouble. cj10jeeper, I like the idea with the laser. Simple but very effective. Good to hear a couple of you rate the Silicon Silver. I looked at other options but this one stood out for me. I'll be sure to post a few pics when it's with me in the f...

Re: Coupe Dimension - rear wheel centre line to rear ?

Makes more sense now and can see the logic I had the original Z4 but parked forward to a timber stop on the floor. Now the F Tyoe lives in 6x6 garage on it’s own, so just use a laser that puts spots on the dash when I reverse in far enough to clear the up and over door. Edit - Silicone Silver is one...

Re: Coupe Dimension - rear wheel centre line to rear ?

Welcome to onboard. Hope the wait isn't too long Wouldn't it be better to source your kerb and then fix it in place once you have the car? You're looking for the measurement to be accurate, which makes sense to not waste space, but how far forward the kerb needs placing also depends on the profile a...

Re: 6th April (Wales Drive) All performance cars

Would be a lot of fun, but not available.

I did notice your poster has 6th March, but otherwise you say 6th April, so probably worth correcting.

Re: Battery

Personal choice on batteries, but I like Halfords at £234.95 for the AGM019, which is the correct for the V6S (MY14). An impressive 5 year warranty and £70 less than having the Jaguar logo on it. I've used this range on the F Type, a former Evoque and on one of my Jeeps, with no issues. https://www....

Re: C-Tek battery conditioner

MXS 5 is the one, you can fit a comfort connector directly in the boot, take a look at this thread for lots of information. https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=4459 Every day is a school day - will do this tomorrow, thanks for the info Mike.
