Re: Anti-Gravity Lithium Battery

I had an issue with the battery tender. When it was hooked up to the power strip it would not fully charge. It kept going to step 4 & it would always fail. After many attempts at trying to figure out what was wrong, I hooked the red lead to the battery & now it goes up to step 7 & maint...

Re: Anti-Gravity Lithium Battery

A few guys on the US forum have fitted them and apparently have no issues with them. The Jag's charging circuitry seems to cope with it, too. Thank you scm. I did a few googles & kept bringing up a few differing forum posts. Will have another look through specific ones. Hope I've not done norma...

Re: What is this back box?

There’s a square data plate on the second photo. Give that a rub. Might be manufacturers logo etched in.

Re: 3 hours to change the TCU Battery - Rip off?

What will you do if the battery change hasn’t fixed the issue? Use of ‘may’, ‘most likely’, ‘seems’, ‘might’, ‘could’ suggests many variables. The garage ‘may’ be factoring in a number of possible causes that will take time & correct diagnosis, following a logical fault-finding sequence. Hope th...

Re: PPF pre cut kits?

I’m just having some OEM side skirts fitted. As part of the job the sill panel covers & the lower wings are being painted too. Did look at PPF, to protect the new paint, but also think it’ll end up quite pricey for what it is. Normally no problem paying for work on my car but this could be an e...

Re: Do you find the F-Type generally noisy?

I forgot and used that stretch last week Darren to go to West Bridgeford, it was awful. I came home via the A60 and that's almost as bad. Drop the e Steve. The bourgeois residents of WB will be spitting in their Chai Latte 😂 Should be nice when completed though. The Nottingham to Newark stretch is ...
