I was driving "reasonably fast" down the M40 a few weeks ago, after a visit to the awesome Caffeine & Machine, and was overtaken by a number of very quick German cars (Porsche, Merc, BMW) driven by "yoofs" . An M4 cabriolet slowed down, and all 4 occupants gave me a thumbs up...

What a lovely day. Great weather. Beautiful cars. Got chatting to a lovely bloke who's customised his E-type as a hill-climber, over the course of 49 years. He pretty much rebuilt the car. I think I'll stick to my original plan of first having some fun on a track in an F, but not my own car!
Thereafter, I'll look into further options for more "fun times".

Hi Basher, What’s the objective of going on track? Is it simply to ‘legally’ use the Jag’s potential? Or are you looking for driver training? If its the first then save a shed load of cash and go to a Vmax day at Bruntingthorpe. If the latter, track driving, braking points and entry points in my op...
