Re: JLR and Dealer Service requirement differences
If you are on a service plan, I have a 5yr plan, then it details the transfer box oil in the letter at 3yrs, I will be taking this with me next year.. I will add photo later... Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s extra charge? Last year they should’ve changed spark plugs but didn’t. Would have paid for ...

Re: JLR and Dealer Service requirement differences
This cropped up when I took my car for its first service at an independent Jaguar garage. The engineer was surprised items where missing off full JLR service record. I believe this is Partly consequence of eagerness to compete, on price, with independents. Ironic thing is independents aren’t that mu...

Re: New owner...few questions
Hello katjan23, Welcome to the forum! Lots of good folk on here happy to pass on knowledge & experience of ownership. Have never felt need to cover bonnet vents when washing. I use normal hose pipe with spray attachment. Does the job perfectly. Not into power hoses. They waste water & can fo...

Re: Flat Bottom Steering Wheel
There are two companies who can take a standard steering wheel & completely revamp it.
It can be reshaped & refinished in a variety of leathers & or alcantara etc. Have a look at Custom Control Steering Wheels or Royal Steering Wheels.
I’ve got a spare from eBay, £45.00

Re: How do you attach front number plate?
Someone on here (can’t remember who sorry), took the plate mount off the beam, cut out a small section in the middle then plastic welded the two ends back together so his short plate fit correctly then put it back on the beam - looks perfect. Think he had to get a smart repair done to fill the hole...
