Engine Flush / Oil Conditioning? (2nd Service)
Hi all, I've booked in for the 2nd Service (2016 S) and was offered "Engine Flush and Oil Conditioning" for £30. Does anyone have been offered this and know what this involved? Having checked in a number of other forum, this appears un-necessarily but does no harm to model engines. Any vie...

Re: Aircon smell
I've been getting a strange smell from the air con over the summer for about 30 seconds or so when it starts. It is particularly noticeable when the car starts and the air con comes on straight away. Back to normal after a short while though. The car is due for it's 2nd year service, so will get the...

Re: music via the sound system
I can certainly do both the USB cable with phone or bluetooth with phone. However, I usually have an ipod plug into the USB port and play off that. Or a normal USB key would work too.

Re: second set of wheels
I am also looking to have a second set of TPMS sensors in the winter set of tyres and wheels but have been told by the main dealer the technicians have had problem pairing the second set previously on other cars. However, given the new law on TPMS warning lights and MOT failure, would it be "il...

Windscreen Wipers Service Position
Hi all, Do anyone know how to set the wipers to the service position? I've tried to follow the user manual: Before changing a wiper blade, the wiper arms must be set in the service position as follows: Make sure the ignition is switched off. Switch the ignition on, then off again. Immediately pull t...

Re: Charging System and Rear Camera Fault
This has now been resolved! And interestingly, the dealer found damaged wire which affected the CAN but not sure how the damaged wire manifested... The dealer has also been fixed. The off-side "peg" snapped off before I took it into the dealer fortunately and they have replaced it. The par...

Re: Problem with F Type Door
My car has also just been to the bodyshop for a few days to re-align the door. Some minor improvements, especially on the near-side where the door now seems to be flush. The off-side re-alignement seem to have reduce wind noise but it is still "sticking" out slightly.

Re: Charging System and Rear Camera Fault
Thanks both, The system is now 98% of the time unavailable including no aircon, no heated windscreen or rear glass, and no music or sat nav. I am often finding myself enjoying the exhaust note more as I have to open the window and there is nothing else to listen to. The car is booked in with the dea...

Charging System and Rear Camera Fault
Hi all, I wonder if anyone has the same or similar experience. I've had the car for just short of 11 months and last week a "Rear Camera Fault" warning message showed up and then the centre console went completely blank, including the air-con controls. The "Charging System Fault"...

Re: F Type Parcel Shelf
Sorry, not sure. But it looked like they simply put everything back in place. The latch on one side still look a bit short but it's not fallen down yet.
