Re: Double and Single locking on the F-Type

Have you also discovered that you can set the unlock to either unlock just the driver's door, or both? Vehicle Settings via the menu. ;) Depends on the model year. I have a MY18, and looked for ages in the settings, and found nothing. However, looking on Jaguars site, for the MY18 (and maybe others...

Re: New Forum Member

Welcome - you'll love the car more and more as you get used to it. I've had mine for 7 months and have still not managed to really try it out properly (a mixture of rubbish weather and the fact that I've only just hit 2500 miles) . Re: Watch your speed!

Sounds like you got off reasonably lightly. yeah - It could quite easily have been a ban. In all honesty, I think the 98 was low. I'm almost certain I was going faster (I wont say how much due to incrimination) I didn't have my F-Type at that point, I was in my XF Sportbrake. Swapped it for the F-T...

Re: Double and Single locking on the F-Type

You can also double lock the car by pressing the handle twice.

1st press does the single lock. Whilst the mirrors are still retracting, press the handle again and it will double-lock

Re: Watch your speed!

I was caught by a van on the A64 last August - officially clocked at 98. It took them until last week to finalise my fate I originally plead guilty by post and thought I'd get a fine, etc. but then got a letter to attend court, but because of the Corona virus thing, the court date was being postpone...

Re: Brake calliper nameplate

I've only just bought the decals last week, not got round to doing the calipers yet.

They also sell the clips that the decals fit on to if you want to replace those as well
