I swapped my blue V6 for this all Black R. Dunlp sport max's to be fitted next week , they only fit either Pirellis or Dunlops , and I don't want Pirellis .

In my experience the J rated tyres are definitely different from the non marked ones - I had a half worn Dunlop Maxx on a previous Jag damaged by a pothole so had to get a replacement. I ordered a J rated one from a mobile fitter who turned up with a non-marked one and said "they're all the sa...

I'm buying used from a dealer and haven't checked out the J rating on its tyres, but I will do thanks to this thread. Also, there is a difference between OE and standard tyres. I used to think it's a gimmick but at the end of the day, I can imagine Porsche engineering certain amounts of understeer ...

My 2021 R-Dynamic came with P-Zero AMS tires. Seems like AMS and J are interchangeable. What I did notice is that while the specs seem identicle, there are other (non AMS or J ) P-Zeros that sell for signiifcanly less on web tire sites.
