Re: Private F Type plate wanted

I missed V8 FTR a few months back - gutted.

I have a bunch of 15 plates (basically can go on anything 2015 or after) on retention, but more generic.

The spacing is for show only:

Re: F-Type 'Plus' - Final Final Edition

Hardly going out with a bang, quite underwhelming what with a roundall and a commemorative plaque!!!

It needed to be special - Targa or something, but I guess budgets...

Mind you, I think the last Series III V12 E-Types were not that special being gloss black only I believe.

Re: Range/Land Rover Thefts

I see in the news that Land and Range Rover thefts in London and Manchester have reached epic levels with 90 cars being stolen every day! And insurance companies refusing cover. Can our ftypes be stolen just as easily? If I disable keyless entry does this help? Ghost 11 engine immobiliser, which ta...

Re: P300 Servicing

As it's such a valuable piece of kit to me at least, OSH by way of Indy or dealer would my only choice. FWIW - Back when we bought ours new in 2015, a 5 year service plan was available at £1500. I've just negotiated another 3 year plan with a dealer and whilst not being as cheap as an Indy, ensures ...

Re: Service history vs miles

Hi, What are peoples views on service history vs miles Debating over a couple of f type one has really low miles but part service history and the other has 12k more on the clock but same price with full service history Which would affect value more on resale? Thanks Jonny What is "really low m...

Re: Autocar have got a 75 R as a long termer

Interesting article although at first I thought the URL took me to a Ford Mustang review, they look so similar!

Give me the old school lighter weight bruiser any day, slowly watered the model down over the years....

Re: Powered Tailgate won’t close

I've read that it takes about 20 minutes of driving to put back the charge you use when you start the car (willing to be educated if that's wrong). so if your battery isn't fully charged to start with you're only actually charging it for 10 minutes per run. That's why I suggested giving it a full c...

Re: Powered Tailgate won’t close

Any electrical gremlins with F-Types can usually be cleared, as mentioned above by charging the battery AND resetting the 'brains' by disconnecting the battery for about enough time to make a brew! If it still persists, then time to sniff out the code. Our car, bought new in May 2015, still on the O...
