If my memory serves me then the valves are vacuum operated. The reason they are loud on start up is there is no vacuum. Unless these have electric motors then they will not be quiet at start up. Someone tell me I am wrong here.

I am still confused because I used to just about live in Majorca. I was talking to a local who was English & he had a Fiesta, RHD. He told me he would have to get rid of it as next year RHD cars can not be registered in Spain due to the amount of Deaths caused. This was something like 1995.

I thought you could not MOT a RHD car in Spain any more.

I have all on seeing the traffic lights with the convertible as it is. Sat any higher & it would be impossible.

I am sure on the Evoque we had , the menu had an option lhd or rhd. That was with Xenon lighting Thought the Jag would have the same.

Worth remembering you only get vehicle tax back if you sorn or sell. If you have not done either then don't expect a return of funds. If you have done then your refund comes in the form of a cheque in the post... Which I got last week. From my Bike tax. Banks closed. So used the online banking app ...
