Re: ENGINE OIL LEVEL
I cannot get my screen to show these menu's. Do you have to have the bonnet up for them to show. All I can access is a basic menu with things like mph or km etc.

Re: Hi from Leeds
Thank you for the information. Yes bought privately & I know it is risky but for £52,000 I could not get anywhere near a 2017 with 17k miles. No regrets there. The left rear is quite good but the right rear is down to about 2mm from the wear bars so still a few miles left. Fronts pretty much new...

Re: Disabling Keyless Entry
I totally agree with what you say. We had an Evoque HSE dynamic lux with the same system last year & I used to take the fob to bed but as said by others why risk your life. Let them take it & live another day. Hey that sounds like the pun for a new film. Oh done already.

Re: Hi from Leeds
Simple r thank you so much. I do think the guy was a bit of a exaggerator but I do not care as the car is absolutely stunning. Not a stone chip & not a scratch. I had a 1970 series 2 4.2 drop head e type in powder blue in my younger 23 year old days. I loved that car & sold it only to purcha...

Re: Air filter install.
Are you sure about the 15 bhp claim as that sounds a lot for a air filter. I fitted some to a Skyline gtr some years ago running circa 680bhp. They actually reduced the power but sounded incredible. They were APEX I racing. The original system had free flow filter fitted which we re-instated after d...

Re: Equipment for cleaning
Some friends of mine. Motorcyclists usually go to car wash DIY at Garforth where they have high pressure washers, which they use. They have had various MOT failures do to with bearing failures blamed on using high pressure on automotive's. The high pressure gets everywhere it shouldn't. Just saying.

Re: Disabling Keyless Entry
Don't want to jump the thread, but am I correct that to open your car you have to be around 1 metre away & to lock it the same. I am talking keyless. If I am correct then that means the key signal is good for 1 metre or so. Then if someone is walking around your house perimeter with a receiver i...

Re: Opinions on wind deflector
Tried to remove mine today. Only while hood up as when driving on motorway I find it impedes the rear view a bit. Looks like it does not clip off that easy. On my mX5 it just folds down. 2017 v8R

Re: Extended Warranty
If those parts had been zinc coated which is not expensive they would look new in 20 years.

Re: Hi from Leeds
It has had the 575 upgrade so I guess previous owner stuck a badge on. It's staying on. . The interior has the wingback 12way adj seats with heating. The sales guy said it also had cooled seats but I think he is wrong. No heated steering wheel either. Meridian sound system but turned very low with t...
