My Ctek plugs into the "fag" lighter socket on left hand side of the boot. Been there for 2 months now. Cable trapped by boot seal which is very soft, so no issues there

Forgot to say that Lidl are selling Ctek copies for £13.99 this week. Same functions as Ctek 3 year guarantee
Allow cable to be squashed by boot seal, its thin enough not to cause problem. My car has been in hibernation for a couple of months with Ctek on

The fag lighter socket in the boot is what I use for my Ctek charger. No problems
