Re: side cills
Without opening the install manual, my understanding from when I was looking into this ... you need to remove the sill panels as the extensions use semi hidden mounts that can only be accessed when the main sill panel is removed. However, there is a member on here who has installed and he found a bo...

Re: Thruxton - Jaguar experience day
So much choice... I think I'm still going to opt for the Thruxton Jag day. I might decide thereafter to do something else using my own car, but not for my 1st track experience. Hi Basher, What’s the objective of going on track? Is it simply to ‘legally’ use the Jag’s potential? Or are you looking f...

Re: Exhaust Dilemma
If its only 2 yrs old, go back to your service centre, let them test it, report and fix it ... And then when they have go put some miles on it as the common theme in this thread is low mileage cars that aren’t being driven so things that need to get hot to function well are potentially not being all...

Re: Just picked up my 2018 FType V6 R-Dynamic
Thanks a lot for the replies, it's greatly appreciated. I have just inquired about PPF for the front end, depending on price I will hopefully get this done. Cheers Patrick Welcome Patrick ... Great looking spec and for sure I would go for the PPF over ceramic ... I’d also suggest you think and rese...

Re: Car Remapping and Driver Skill
Actually better than the jag tbh On the OEM tyres even the 340 will spin u the rears without too much provocation ... ....just as well coz that C63 wouldn't go anywhere fast if you'd gunned it with that kind of power through the rear wheels even with a LSD. ...Lolz  And then run out of fuel .....

Re: F-Type Milage
Can someone please post a picture pointing to the steel subframe. My car goes in this week for it's 3 year service and i want them to check it out. As above post, do a search and you will also find the issue number from Jaguar that should provide you with the later part with improved coating. But d...

Re: Essex Easter mini-meet
SUnshine is here, hopefully roads stay clear(ish) ... if anyone coming from CHelmsford, be advised there are temporary traffic lights just as you join the 1060 from the city centre .... I’ll likely be coming the scenic route via the sweeping roads from Harlow ... and please excuse the bug count (unl...

Re: Driving up your back end
There is a time and a place for excess speed and its normally the safety of a race track, not, as any regular commuter knows, on the A3 in the morning rush hour ... for everyone else’s sake I hope the BMW driver doesn’t get offered the speed awareness option and is taken off the road for a period of...
