Try a few more detailers for quotes. 450 is way high for just the sills.

I dynamatted my doors for the sound system but didn't think to do the boot. Does doing the boot make a noticeable difference?

The Lexus / Toyota SC400 wasn't a bad looking coupe in its time. Stop start not working is usually a first sign of the battery nearing the end of its useful life. Or that you haven't been using the car much to charge it. Batteries tend to get much weaker after very roughly 5 or so years.

I don't like it, I wouldn't buy it at a standard car price. Also I'm still not keen on the new front ends, the old ones have the menacing look, particularly the early sharks gills.

Regarding music playing, I have an old Ipod plugged in within the arm rest which works very well.
