Re: NEW - UK Speeding fines (24 April 2017)

I'm not sure I can follow the logic of buying a speed detector as 'not to speed, but check speed' If you weren't speeding then there's no need for a speed detector Are you suggesting that it's only important to be aware of your speed by detecting speed cameras? If you'd said with the increased fines...

Re: F Type clear wind deflector

Just a word of caution on swapping to clear deflectors. Being solid they often cause much greater air turbulence in the cabin area. The way the mesh works is as air rolls over the sceeen some goes through the mesh but slower creating a calmer area.. With solid air rolls like a wave ove the screen an...

Re: SVR Front Bumper Assembly

I took a few slightly better pictures of the end result. Not sure about the S badge, so that might go and need a different profile foam block behind the grille, but very happy so the end result Interim almost finished too with removal of all ignis components, new gear selector and an SVR steering wh...

Re: SVR Front Bumper Assembly

So what did the change of front end cost you all finished? Can't really separate the bumper and side skirt extensions, as I got all the painting at once, but best estimate/split is £500 sills and £1,200 bumper. Bumper was a bargain at £600 inc shipping as it came complete with everything, even the ...

Re: SVR Front Bumper Assembly

Not a criticism at all. It is actually about 0.5mm out, but the photo exaggerates it. Really easy adjustments, but wanted to have a test drive and ensure all the parking sensors worked, washers, pedestrian sensors etc. then do a final fix I also knew of a couple of people that were waiting for a fir...

Re: SVR Front Bumper Assembly

Thanks Meyer :) Havn't had time to study the result, get it on the road or take some nice photos, but think it really works and very happy The look seems to be enhanced with the cf in wheels and bumper splitter and general theme the black pack creates. The side skirt extensions make the front propor...

Re: SVR Front Bumper Assembly

Well the SVR front end is fitted and looks exactly as awesome as I expected I'll let anyone who's interested have a more detailed set of changes required, but in essence a new undertray which was a straight swap and totally different front profile. Bumper mated to that perfectly with some fettling o...

Re: Had worse courtesy cars....

Interesting to see the evolution and changes.
Darker lights, sill extensions, reversing lights only in the rear valance, diffuser changes and all on the base model.

Re: SVR Front Bumper Assembly

I know it is subjective but it would look totally awesome with the P7 grille. Now I am in the mind to fit my P7 grille and use a modified sto n sho plate fixing, I have grown to dislike the bumper bar, It really ruins the front, in my opinion of course! Give up on it. Sell it to me and I'll pick it...

Re: SVR Front Bumper Assembly

I think the rad will be OK with just the one small lip trimmed back that was interfering. Test fit 2 made sure I had enough room. I think the rad is the same, but on the SVR they have turned it a little. Hard to tell, but on. V6 I can't see cooling or air flow being any sort of issue and an SVR rad ...
