The manufacture date is at the end of the DOT reference, but only on the outside face. You can see from the photo with legs in it 1417 - so 14th week of 2017. Have to say it does look rather good - so much better than the std. coupe tea tray :D Yep, it wasn't a cheap mod. but gives you an individual version of a fairly individual car, along with the satisfaction of fitting it yourself. ...if I was on Pirelli rubber in these temps I'd probably want a bigge...

If that's the slightly rubbery tape I've found it can be a bit "bouncy" due to its thickness, so not sure if it will be ideal.

Hmm - wonder if it's related to your rubber window dot. Are people only seeing those on coupes? I think you might struggle to lift the trim up enough to insert tape without deforming it, but if you do try that go for a quality 3M tape that retains its strength under water.
