Re: Car finally collected, absolutely love it! PPF?

Yes the stuff that doesn’t go over the edges is never going to look great IMO, especially on a white car, was that venture shield by any chance? apr1962 that sounds more like what I’m going to go for, seems a very reasonable price too, do you mind me asking where you got it done and what brand of p...

Re: Car finally collected, absolutely love it! PPF?

Lovely car. On the subject of PPF, I had a manufacturer's front end kit fitted to my white coupe and then had it removed. I naively imagined the sheet would extend around the panel edges but no! There was an edge around each panel approx 5mm short that collected dirt and muck so there were thin blac...

Re: Seat belt

I think the loop on the seat you describe is only on the latest seats, certainly mine doesn’t have that, the seat belt comes straight from the belt holder, perhaps something fixed to the belt to stop it fully rewinding may help. My car is 2014 and has the loops. I'm surprised if some don't. I see w...

Re: Seat belt

It's difficult to visualise this problem from the description. The belt passes through a loop/guide on the top edge of the seat back. When released the surplus belt is retracted back through the loop. There is a stud fitted into the webbing that arrests the buckle. When retracted the stud/buckle fin...

I also find the catflap a distraction.

It can be disabled, apparently.

Re: SVR Side Stickers Hit or Miss????

Red draws the eye so it requires concious effort to just follow the line from front to rear.

Fast cars should be all about subtlety imo so the SVR wants for nothing.

Re: Crank pulley + Ecu tune on V6s.

Cold misty mornings will produce more power than the current weather of high 20s. Air is more dense, so more air/oxygen per suck = more fuel per inject. Mist/water vapour helps keep charge temps low. That's what the ecu looks for to get the timing just right for max. BHP. Conversely, it also looks t...

Aye - they have clearly lost their way.. :D There's a Cobra in the background though So there is. Didn't spot that. I take it all back. :D Reading through, it sounds a good day's fun to be had but sadly won't be able to join you as we'll be away. BTW, what's toxic archery? Is it where you fire off ...
