Hello,

i've owned a XE R-Sport (2l diesel) for the last year - my first Jag.

Now i'm waiting for an upgrade - the XE S - the V6 - 380ps - can't wait to get it... anyway, i'm considering to get the F-type, so here i am...

Cheers from Portugal!

Go for the F type, you won't be disappointed.

Ah!
Another face from the XE forums!
There are a few on here you might recognise. :D
Are you considering an F-Type as well as the new XE S that's coming shortly ?

Go for the F type if you can cope with only having a two seater. We have a petrol 2 litre XE as well, which really is very good but doesn't have the same level of drama that oozes from the F type. An F type will just make you smile when you look at it, when the door handles pop out, when you slide into the seats and when it growls down the road. Other considerations are that the F type is very wide and has lower ground clearance which can make some car park ramps out of bounds (speed bumps are never a problem).
