Hi To All

Having had an XKR Convertible for the past 6 years I decided it was time for a change. I bit the bullet and decided to go for the F-Type 400 Sport Convertible.

I totally love the car but now wondering whether I should have waited and gone for a 5.0, clearly the difference in performance between the 3.0 and 5.0 is pretty significant but then again so is the price, hence why I would of had to wait and probably missed the 400 Sport availability.

Whilst the book time on my old XKR was 4.8 (some books quote 4.6) the 400 Sport quotes 4.8, much the same as the XKR. However, not sure why but the F-Type does not feel as quick even though the 0-60 times are almost the same. Maybe it's just me and it will take some getting used to!

Regardless, considering the price point the F-Type is the best looking two seating roadster out there!

Cheers for now!

Very smart looking...black out the chrome badges at the back and i reckon it will look even better!

You are most probably missing the torque.
One thing that the XKR and the V8 F-Types have an abundance of Gazza.
