Hi all,
Just bought the attached new r-dynamic 380 rwd as my 'now aged 60' retirement present (just to stress, its not a mid-life crisis!).
Picking this up in couple of days, and since agreeing the deal I've tortured myself along following lines:
- should I have used my budget to buy a used full-on f-type R awd? - I decided 'no' as I think the 380 is best to live with on a day to day basis
- is this colour (Loire Blue) right for the car? - although I do like the bright colours with black wheels/trim, I think these wheels look fab, where with the chrome gives the car an elegant look for a long-term keep.
- should I have gone for awd - bottom line was I didn't as the car was part of a Jag Event so I got a fab discount, just hope I don't miss having that awd capability.

Other pain was I'm part exchanging my 2 year old Jag XE S - which I've loved, but its no F-Type! (and you wouldn't believe the depreciation pain I've had to absorb!)

Great to be a new forum member, let me know what you all think!

Cheers, Gordon

One other thing - as it was part of a jag event, I didn't get some of the options I otherwise would have ordered (eg reversing camera, auto tail-gate - and big deal for me is I love the flat bottomed steering wheel) - but as I mentioned, this was done as a jag event deal and was a real fab bargain (where basically I think the dealership spec'd this up as the 'must have's, best bang for buck' type thing

Great colour combo and I really like those alloys .... ref the steering wheel, they can retro fit so you could have this done before collection ... another owner did this a few months back for a few hundred pounds ... that was a heated option IIRC so you could get a VERY useful upgrade at the same time ...

I didn’t like the reverse cam as it was very misleading with a distorted view, but again, sure you could have a retro fit from either OEM of high quality ICE Specialist.

Hopefully all this dodgy weather will have been washed away before collection day ...
Storm Grey V6 coupe, fun, fast, popping and crackling with smiles all the way ... missed more than I expected!

C43 AMG estate, lots of toys, like the F-Type but with 4 seats and far more stealthy but still with pops and crackles!

Was due to pick-up today - but decided to put off until roads good (if I had the awd may have thought differently!)
