Hello guys 'n' gals,

New on here but not new to the F-Type, I've been the proud of my pretty beast for over a year now, and loved every minute of it behind the wheel!

As usual with these forum's, thought it best to drop in here and introduce oneself first before i get carried away ;)

That's it for now - short & sweet...

I didn’t know it was obligatory to declare SVR ownership. Had mine just over a year now. Only issue were the front carbon ceramic brakes. Didn’t think much to them, but then I only ordered them for the wheels.

However, a strange noise developed from the near side front. Jaguar and Brembo couldn’t put a finger on the problem so after much teeth sucking they replaced them.

Now they are awesome! From cold they’re almost as good as when hot. Your eyes start to leave there sockets when you really nail them on a grippy tarmac.

Otherwise no other issues. Just been asked if I wish to replace the car earlier than the the two year point. But I understand that the new car has the Pro infotainment system and satnav in it. I already have this in my Range Rover and it’s the worst piece of naff I’ve ever had in any of my previous cars. So, sorry Jaguar after two FTypes I won’t be replacing my SVR in October. I’m gutted!

So here’s a couple of naff photos of the car for all you FType Boys and Girls.

Lovely, best investment I ever made was buying the plate R8 FUN for my Griff 500 back in 98. Sold it for a packet later to an R8 owner. :D

Great pictures, must say though I'm over the moon with the pro system, free upgrades from HERE whenever a new map update is released and new roads added very quickly. So honestly can't fault it.
I have other manufacturers sat nav's including Volvo and TomTom and I prefer the pro system in the Jag, it's the only car that I don't use Waze in ;)
