Squeaky Seat

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum having just purchased my 64 plate Coupe last month.

Absolutely love the car. Just looking at it puts a smile on my face.

The only issue I have had so far is a squeaky drivers seat. I'm not particularly tall (5' 11") so I don't have the seat all the way back but I do get a squeaking sound form the leather on what I presume is the plastic behind.

I wondered if anyone else has experienced this and how they resolved it? The jag dealer suggested sticking some cloth down there but I want it to look neat.

Apologies if this is already been covered on another thread, I imagine it's fairly common.

I have an occasional squeak where the seatbelt rubs on the top of the seat, not managed to cure the problem yet.

I was going to raise a similar issue. Mine has an annoying squeak from somewhere near the back on the squab..(I think that's the expression).
