As title says considering purchasing F-Type so need to gain as much info as possible.
My choice is probably going to be a 2013/14 V6 S with Quickshift? Auto.
Now couple of questions, what options are desirable.? Notice some have orange paddles?
What brake options were there available some seem to have red calipers?
Any tips please ?

I have a later model, but these options are a must IMHO:

- Panoramic roof (unless you're getting a convertible).
- Switchable exhaust.
- High performance brakes (the larger ones with red calipers).
Rhodium silver F-Type 400 Sport AWD coupe.

PB Brakes big brake kit: drilled & slotted rotors, big yellow calipers. 😁

Yep, the convertible comes with panoramic roof as standard :D

Look out for the Performance seats too - they were on my must have list for looks and comfort.

My must-haves were V8 (sorry!), heated and cooled seats, heated windscreen, fixed rear spoiler (don't like the "I'm doing/have been doing more than 70" giveaway). The flat-bottomed steering wheel is cool, too, nice and chunky to grip. Colour is a very personal choice, but the F-Type looks gorgeous in any colour!

Thanks for replies, anyone point me to an option list for the years 2013-14 so I can work out what was available as extras? Also what mpg is the normal for a V6S version in the real world? Cheers

i get 30-35 real world mpg in my 3.0 with mixed commuting city/a road drives.
as for options the older S models like my own car came with the big brakes, switchable exhaust and nice sports seats, added must haves include parking sensors all round for me.
