Hi all, new to ftype forums and all going well will be proud new owner of this 65 plate v6 coupe next week once I’ve travelled the 300 miles to pick her up. First ftype and first ever sports car, can’t wait but slightly nervous... At age 44 I realised its now or never

Welcome to the club! You're starting early - I got my first performance car (XK8) at age 57. Made up for lost time since. though, with two XKRs and now my F-Type! You'll love it. :)

Hi Pete R and welcome,

I'm sorry to say you'll have to change your ID from Pete R to Pete V6 as you've not got an "R".

Only joking, welcome and have fun.

Hi and welcome. Like you I couldn't find what I wanted locally. Eventually found one 530 miles away. I enjoyed every mile of the drive home and every mile since. Still puts a smile on my face.
