Hello Everyone,
Glad to join this forum and soon to be owner of a 2019 F-type. Yes it's the 2.0 because Belgium has rediculous road tax and registration fees.
I have been driving Dodge Ram's (4) for the last 10 years. 1.5 years ago I bought a Camaro 2.0 which I sold yesterday.
The F-type imo is one of the most beautiful cars on the road.
Some details :
Corris grey with Ebony Windsor Leather
R dynamic
DAB
Electrical boot
Keyless entry
retractable heated and dimming rear mirrors
polished stainless pedals
privacy glass
panoramic roof
Heated steering wheel
Blind spot and rear traffic monitor
20" 6 split spoke rims
black pack
and climate pack 1
The only thing I will be doing is installing a dash cam. Any info on this is welcome.
Are these cars prone to rock chips? If so I'll consider Xpel
It'll be my daily driver I hope for the next three years.
Regards,
Nick

Welcome to the club! You're right about how gorgeous the F-Type looks, regardless of engine size.
I wasn't a fan of grey cars until I saw Corris Grey ....

Welcome Nick, and enjoy! Corris grey is a lovely colour.
I'd recommend getting a ceramic coat and then just a front end PPF wrap to protect paint (unless you can afford to get the whole car wrapped). I did that as mine is also a daily driver.
There are a few other owners on here from Belgium, and Holland. I'm sure they'll make themselves known to you.

Nick, welcome to the F-Type clan.
Can't see your picture unfortunately as I'm grabbing what bandwidth I can via satellite from the Oceans of Indonesia...
You can't go wrong with PPF. The F-Type is a magnet to anything road rash related, surprisingly even the rear end, where people often don't consider protecting...sods law dictates that the bit you don't protect, is the bit that gets a ding!
If you are going to keep the car, I would strongly suggest a full cover (I went for a full custom, that wraps around all the edges with at least a 10mm overlap) as I'm anal and I show the car at concours (I know it's too young) events and want to use the car for 'spirited' driving.
I can vouch for self healing Xpel Ultimate, but believe they have an even better film out now.
As with anything, you get what you pay for wrt PPF installations. It's a small fortune, but considering the cost of the car...and if you don't fancy repainting panels, then it's a no brainer IMO.
