The F-Type is an odd one to compare to other cars, partially I think because of the wide range of engines and auto/manual RWD/AWD options but mainly power outputs.

2L 4-pot 300
3L V6 340
3L V6 380
3L V6 400
5L V8 488
5L V8 550
5L V8 575
Project 7

I think you could compare a 370z to a 2L F-Type or P340 v6. Along with a 718 Cayman maybe. Similar power and performance. I mean the Nissan is nearly half the price of the rivals.

P380 or 400 sport and a Cayman S, Z4 or baby 911 maybe?

Original v8s and 550 R and a 911?

My point is that to compare an F-Type against another car seems to greatly depend on the engine in the F-Type and maybe there isn't another single model out there that's offers a 2L 300ps all the way up to a 600ps V8. And I liked the 350/370z cars as well!!

Anyway to get back on topic. Hi and welcome. Fantastic colour!! Enjoy

No one said anything about any Z being in the same league, in fact the opposite. I never saw any mention of an MX5? We were just chatting about our old cars, as one does on a motoring forum🤔

I had Z4 a few years ago and it's quite a few levels below the F Type (Even the 2.0 litre F).
