New F type

Hi Everyone, I’m so excited just ordered my first ever new f type Jag.
Been thinking about it for a long while now.
I’ve had to order a factory built car and they tell me I need to wait up to 4 months for the car.
Each day seems like a life time.
I decided on the white f type r dynamic 340
I went for the 20” black gloss wheels along with the red callipers.
Went a little over board on the extras as well £10K
I keep seeing the f type on my way home looks fantastic, love the view from the back.

4 months .. you need a new little hobby to take you mind off , or start collecting F Type memorabilia / models and cleaning products

Hi Andy, welcome ! I wonder what MY you will get, most likely the 2020... .. and what will that bring in changes...
Not the 'new' model yet I assume, maybe some interior changes.

Hi, Thanks for welcoming me to the forum really nice of you all.

They have confirmed it will be the 2020 model.
I was so tempted to order a stock car in ultra-blue which I thought looked amazing but my friends said they all preferred the white.
Both colors like great though.
thinking of emailing Jag direct to see if I can get a tour of the factory to see the f types being built, does anyone know if this is possible?

I drove 500 miles last week to Scotland and never saw 1 f type, I was keeping an eye out to see how many I could spot.
Once back into birmingham I saw 2 straight away.

@Andy. The FT is build at Castle Bromwich. Ask your dealer if you can get a complimentary VIP-tour of the factory, instead of paying yourself...

I did the tour last year and found it really good. Group size up to 10 people.

Easy to book on the jaguar website.

I believe you can arrange a more personal tour to see your actual car going through but not sure how that is arranged, probably through supplying dealer?
