Welcome to the forum.
1. V6 400 or 380
2. Just the usual things - serviced on time, vehicle well looked after, etc.
3. early rear cross braces were prone to surface corrosion
4. anything made by VAG or BMW
And you'll need to strengthen your grin muscles - they'll get a major workout on every drive!
Good luck with your search, take your time and you'll find what you want.

338 Jagaur 400 sports were registered in the uk. 258 Silver & white, 80 were black, 5 convertibles and 75 black coupes not sure of breakdown between awd and rear wheel drive. Some combinations are limited to just a few cars. The engine will be the most powerful production Jaguar F type V6 because the V6 has been with drawn. The F-type has been highlighted in the press as a future classic with the 400 sport with the horrible yellow badges being the pick of the bunch. Worth a punt if you intend to keep for 20 plus years.

As of Q3 2019 there are now 440 registered in the UK.
- 236 RWD
- 204 AWD
So about 338 on 19th Feb 2018 would of been correct at that time. Jaguar must of given you the number sold and not produced. Production ended early 2018 but they are still being found and registered today. There is 19 plate for sale on used Jaguar with 45 miles on the clock but is actually a two year old car.
400 Sport AWD - MY18 - Black, pano roof and thats about it
Hi Simple R, thank you for the clarification. Now all we need to know is how the 204 AWD are split between black, sliver & white and then how they are split coupes and convertibles. I agree any 400 that turns up now is MY 18.5 as the production year was completed by 28th Feb 2018. Thank you for your good work.
