Hi everyone,

Great forum! I’ve just purchased a 400 sport coupe in silver, cannot wait to pick her up and get behind the wheel....My dream car 👍

Does anyone know if it’s possible/easy to retro fit a heated front screen and blind spot mirrors?

These are both options I would have spec’d from new but unfortunately aren’t on my car.

Hey welcome. Have same car although might not be silver for too long!!

Mine came with heated windscreen so cant answer that one but my jag main dealer said no to retrofitting blind spot monitoring. That said doesnt mean cant be done independently but not a path for me just at moment

Enjoy the car - dynamic in sport mode is my suggestion

This car is epic!!!!!!

But does anyone know what’s up with the yellow wheels ? Is this rust ? Can anything be done to remove it? Thanks.

It's just surface rust, the cure is to drive it! ;)

@Flurberman_____ Hi, retrofitting heated FWH is impossible. Just start your car with the phone app 5 minutes before you leave!
The OEM blindspot is also impossible. But I have heared the Chinese have some simple devices you fit in the mirror housing. It is activated
by switching the indicator on [ gets power from that ]. Its a red LED that lights up behind the mirror glass., showing a blinking red glow
in the gap between the mirror and the housing. I tried to find it on AliExpress, but no succes sofar.

The yellow stuff is rust. Just drive the car and after a few times braking the shine like new... :mrgreen:

Cool thanks. Shame about the heated windshield - i really miss it. Remote start is fab, hearing the car roar to life doesn’t half make me smile!
