New Owner - V6 S AWD

Hi all,

I picked up a V6 S AWD on Friday and glad to join the club.

Car is 2015, 12,000 miles, Stratus Grey with 20" wheels and has red performance seats, pano roof, black pack and a few other items.

I spent 250 miles in the car this weekend and loved every minute. I had a V6 S for a weekend in 2015 and it has been a goal to get one every since.

Attached are some photos, including its DB7 neighbour in the car park which was also designed by Callum.

Planning on taking the car around Ireland in August and on a few trips to France and Belgium as well.

Looking forward to contributing to this forum and would also like to thank simpleR for his invaluable help on checking the multiple cars I sent him.

Regards,
Will

Looking good, welcome to the club! You'll have to park somewhere else, you're showing up the Aston! ;)

Welcome!

Looking very nice in Stratus Grey - very shiny too 8-)

Paintwork always looks good under fluorescent lighting - remember my Bluefire metallic XE used to really pop then.

No worries in the looks dept. from parking next to that Aston either - the Alfa in the background gives more of a run for it's money.

We were also planning a tour of Ireland in the autumn, but a bit up in the air at the moment.

...and I never knew that Ian Callum designed car parks :D

Thanks scm.

Good spot Lunar. Times must be tough for Callum, designing car parks to fund his Vanquish 25 project.

The stratus grey is great. Can look almost like black in certain light and then a nice shade of dark grey under sunlight or fluorescent.

I'm from Ireland so can recommend some great driving routes / places (pubs) to visit etc. Let me know if you go this Autumn.

Quick question - are my wheels Coriolis? I'm familiar with Tornado, Cyclone, Propeller, Gyrodyne etc but not 100% sure what style mine are.

Thanks,
Will

Lovely looking car and I do like those wheels, I didn’t realise they fitted on other models than the SVR. not sure why i thought that 😳

Hi Will, your car left the factory with 19" 5058 wheels.

19X8.5JCH49/19X9.5JCH27 5058 D
245/40R1994Y 275/35R1996Y S

Presume the previous/yourself changed them. Might be worth a call to insurance company?

The 20" Coriolis wheels were on the car when I bought it but I mentioned to the insurance company (Admiral) just in case.
