Hi All
Recently picked up F Type V6 S MY2016, absolutely stunning car. Had all the normal German cars BM, Mercs, Porsche's etc
This is by far the best car I have ever driven / owned. Has anyone had / noticed slight gap in some of the panels?
Specifically where the bonnet meets the front wheel arches ? Probably about 1cm.
Any suggestions on how to rectify or is this the norm ?
I think when buying i was so excited I missed it..
thank you

1 cm seems pretty good! Panel gaps are an issue on these cars but can be adjusted. A good body shop may be able to help, or a dealer, if you have plenty of cash! There are threads about fixing this on the US forum, not sure if there are any on here.

Found some info posted from a TOPIx link but not the sort of thing i would try.
I will enquire at a body shop, looks like adjustments required particularly to the Bonnet, lots of adjustment bolts in there.

Agree with SCM, panel gaps seem to vary, I had my rear bumper adjusted under warranty, however I know the Jaguar garage took it to a specialist body shop for them to do. Good luck....

I think the main issue is the bonnet - largest single pressing in the car industry, apparently, and has to line up with a lot of angles. Not the sort of thing I'd try, either!
And anyway, you can't see the gaps when you're driving it!
