Morning everyone, Can anybody help, I am looking to buy a Space saver spare at a reasonable price for my 400 coupe , it's on 20" wheels and wondered will the 20" Spacesaver spare for the Range Rover fit or can anybody recommend any other. ??

Unsure whether this is true or not but when I picked my 400 sport I enquired about a spare and was told yes you can get one but the rear 20" wheels don't fit in the boot should you get a rear puncture so I never bothered.

The F type space saver is 19" with a 135 section tyre. They come up on eBay occasionally. But a jack and wheelbrace is also going to be needed.

Boot on the coupe is over 30cms deep, with the parcel shelf in place, so I can't see why a 20* wheel wouldn't fit.

Just don't try it in a 'vert!

A 20" wheel and tyre takes up nearly all of the passenger seat volume as it is.

Yeah, I had a similar problem when I had a front wheel puncture in my previous XKR - it only just fitted in the boot and if I had to carry a rear wheel it'd need to be a passenger!

would you not consider a decent recovery service membership instead?
A rear wheel & tyre will not fit in the boot, would need to go on passenger seat - then the issue of where does the passenger go if you had one!
Space saver in the boot takes up alot of space - makes the already small convertible boot pretty much pointless
