Hi all,

Just thought I would say a little hello - long time lurker but first time poster; used to have a MY14 V6S but sadly had to trade up (or down!) for an F-Pace A few years ago; but happily a couple of weeks past collected an MY19 V8R, which we plan to keep for the long run (pictures below). Already have a few thanks to say to the forum as without it I wouldn’t have been able to fit the carbon power vents without breaking the old ones (not pictured!) Look forward to being part of the community!

Nik

Nice to see JLR have managed to get their bonnet alignment right on the later MYs👍

Welcome to the forum! Great looking car, is that Silicon Silver?

Hopefully you won’t have to sell this one!

Great colour!

You have the same style wheels as my 400 Sport. You might want to paint them darker to tie them in with your other black/carbon details? I recommend dark satin grey. 😉

Thanks all for the welcome - it’s Silicon Silver - wasn’t sure about it when I first saw it but has a lovely effect in the sunlight! Yes Basher - I agree I think over time I may get them painted darker... JurassicF - excuse the lack of knowledge - what was up the the bonnet alignment on earlier models?

Agree with Kevin, dark satin wheels would look awesome with that colour.

JLR have been renowned for poor bonnet alignment with the front nose cone and lower front panels. Yours look spot on, probably the best I have seen.

Sadly not, my MY20 is not aligned as well as this one seems to be. Although every time I close the bonnet (using the correct method!) it seems to be slightly different!
