New lady owner saying hello
As someone who turned that age a few years ago I’m going kicking and screaming into acting age appropriate. I know what you mean about the Carpathian grey cars going quickly. Was waiting for the photos to be uploaded on the used approved web page for one in Stockport and it sold before they got put up. I’m in no rush to buy though.catsandtrees wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 9:35 amHave been looking for a while for one in this exact colour and same wheels. Every time I found one the sold straight away so jumped on this one as soon as I found it. As someone who is about to turn 50 I quite like the silver as it’s more classy and aged appropriate

Welcome, Sure Looks like Carpathian Grey to me like mine
Regarding bird droppings, I keep some autoglym Bird wipes in the glovebox, so you can act immediately, also a warm soapy sponge left on the offending item before wiping helps to soften it too!

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Here's another tip for stubborn dried bird poop!.......Scrunch a few sheets of toilet paper into a lump and soak with water then place on top of the poop and leave for approx 20 mins. This will soften it and it’ll come off much easier with no damage to the paintwork.
Afterwards, if you use T-Cut, don’t use T-Cut Original as it’s quite abrasive and can take the lacquer off after some constant rubbing. Instead use T-Cut Metallic which is less abrasive. http://www.t-cut.co.uk/index.cfm?page=165
Finish off with a coat of polish.

Welcome. Keeping the wax/polish topped up, should stop bird poo leaving a mark as long as it's not left for ages.
Problem with cleaning your car is the birds are watching (anyone remember the birds from Rhubarb and Custard). As soon as you've finished they use your car for target practice

You guys are so funny and helpful.
So gutted as on Friday a bloody stone hit my door and left a few marks which I can get my nail in.
Currently saving up for ceramic coating so will now have to get this sorted first.
Any recommendations as to the best way? T cut won’t do as too deep.
