Hi guys,

I'm a new owner. I absolutely love the car coming from a TVR Tamora it's like getting out of the Flinstone car and stepping into a space shuttle. For me its the perfect car does everything, fast, economical (if you want to drive it that way), looks amazing, comfortable, sounds brilliant!.

Loads of options on the car. Previous owner added 20" wheels and had ceramic coat done. Loads of black bits added. I'm trying to find the build sheet but Topix is showing nothing (see pic) any ideas where I'm going wrong?

So far on the car I have:
Replaced worn start button.
Replaced scratched cup holder.
Added Jaguar leaper puddle lights.

Next:
I'm after a foot rest pedal.
Got some soft top treatment to apply.
New number plate on order T2YPF
Centre vents are a bit hit and miss so will get that replaced on RAC warranty.
Noisy start - bit tappety, needs looking at.

Hope you are all well.

Andy

Welcome to the club, lovely car. I'm also a fan of that fixed rear spoiler (got a white one myself!) - I think it finishes off the back end nicely.

Regarding the centre vent - if it's set to auto it might not rise (depends on the temperature) - mine usually stays shut all winter and comes out of hibernation during spring!

Tappety noise when cold will be supercharger drive cog. I don’t think it’s actually an issue that will break. I stand to be corrected on this, but I’ve not heard of any failure.

Thanks, I have it on Auto and it sometimes rises and sometimes goes half way and then drops down when I hit a speed bump.

The spoiler is on via the button on the centre console, I prefer the look of it up. ;)

Thanks Gareth,

I might take it to a specialist just to check it out.

That's interesting it looks like a full width spoiler but deployable?

It can go fully up, fully down or anywhere in between by holding the button:

The coupe's rear spoiler does not go full width of the car like the convertibles, they are a tad deeper though!
